The experience behind the engine.

Between the partners at The Brand Factory, there are decades of hard-won, high-stakes experience spanning brand strategy, creative, PR, digital, sponsorship, events, and everything in between.

CEO & Founder, Hayley Hillary, began her career in some of South Africa's most respected corporate and agency environments before moving into global sports hospitality at the highest level, directing premium commercialisation for one of the biggest sporting events on earth, the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. She has managed multi-million rand sponsorship portfolios for global automotive brands, launched new-to-market vehicles from zero awareness to sell-out, steered executives and high-profile individuals through reputation crises, and led campaigns recognised with multiple PRISM Awards, SABRE, Loeries, and Bookmark honours.

Managing Director, Buhle Madlala, brings complementary firepower built across telecommunications, football, and major event environments including the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. This, alongside the entrepreneurial drive of a Mail & Guardian Top 100 Women Changing SA honouree,  UCI-accredited cycling coach, and a Survivor SA finalist who has spent her career converting bold ideas into measurable community and commercial impact.

We've generated PR coverage so impactful it crashed a client's website and garnered front page across every major title in South Africa, overnight.
